# AppSumo

> Redeem a Halo deal bought on AppSumo.

A Halo deal from AppSumo gives you a licence key that works exactly like one bought on
withhalo.app. There's no account to make.

**1. Activate on AppSumo**

Open your [AppSumo products](https://appsumo.com/account/products/), find Halo, and press
**Activate**.

**2. Get your key**

AppSumo sends you to withhalo.app, which shows your licence key. Press **Copy**.

**3. Unlock Halo**

If Halo is installed in that browser, press **Unlock Halo in this browser** and you're
done. Otherwise, open Halo's popup, click **Unlock**, paste the key and press
**Unlock**.

Your key works in up to 3 browsers, or 10 on the team tier. Lost it? Press **Activate** on
AppSumo again and you'll be shown it again.

> If the page says the link "has already been used or has expired", go back to AppSumo and
> press Activate again. Each link works once.

Refunds go through AppSumo, within its window. A refunded deal's key stops working.
